Kat has been a 34 year long resident in Manvel. She is a mom of 2 boys, Greysen and Gabriel. Growing up here she played softball, ran track, played volleyball, and participated in multiple fundraisers along the way. She has been grounded in the community and built strong relationships with neighbors. Kat is one of Manvel High Schools first graduating class. While in school she participated in multiple sports that proved medal worthy. She represented Manvel in multiple state meets for track and was granted a full ride scholarship to The University of Houston for Track and Field where She obtained her bachelors in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. She created a highly successful catering business after college and purchased a food truck that was paid off in 4 months. Kat now serves the community through the food bank and being an active member of the E.C. Mason PTO Board. She has been a New Hope member for over 9 years at church. To say she has a servants heart would be an understatement. Kat is ready, willing, and able to help our community succeed.
Volunteering at our local food bank has been a treasure over the past 4 years. Giving back has always been a priority for me in our community. I believe that building
a strong and supportive community is key to our success. That's why I’ve created a platform that puts people first, and fosters a sense of belonging.
This school year I was voted in to our board for the marketing position. It has been a wonderful and fulfilling experience thus far. We have been able to raise over $30,000 since August for our students. We were able to raise funds to replace our playground canopy and surpass our goal to build a track for the school.
My focus is on making sure there’s a sustainable city for our future.
Safety is a huge priority in our community and I want to make sure it’s funded in the right way.
We need parks solely designed benefiting our kids.
I want our city to grow in the right way.
Drainage is something we have faced for years and I am committed to finally getting a solution for old Manvel.
I am not a yes man and plan to always ask questions to ensure the best for our community.
MUDs and Emergency Services are important
